Frequently Asked Questions
What is Studentship?
Studentship is how Browning helps every boy learn to plan his work, get started, keep going, adjust when things change, and learn from what happened. It is built on five pillars: PLAN, ENGAGE, PERSIST, ADAPT, and REFLECT. Meet the five pillars.
Is Studentship only for students who struggle with organization?
No. Studentship is for every student. Everyone has strengths and areas for growth, and these skills support friendships, well-being, and learning, not only homework.
How should I use this site?
Start with your son's grade. Each grade page shows every pillar with what it looks like at that age, what Browning is doing, and one thing to try at home this week. You can check off the ideas you try.
What does "executive function" mean?
Executive function is the set of mental skills that help us plan, focus, remember, manage feelings, and change course. Studentship is Browning's name for building these skills.
How does Studentship connect to Digital Life at Browning?
The Digital Life at Browning guide is a companion to this site. Studentship's Healthy habits skill includes "mindful technology use," and both guides are organized by the same grade bands.
Does this site collect information about my son?
No. The site remembers the last grade band you viewed and any "Try this week" checkmarks, but only in your own browser on your device. Nothing is sent to the school or anyone else.

Whom should I contact with questions about my son?
Content to come. TODO: verify the right contacts in each division.
